I started my HSC exams on the 21st and I'm happy to say they're going pretty well. I normally don't freak out (or study much) for exams, and these ones were no exceptions. Out of a total of 7, I only have 2 left - Art and Textiles - so they should be pretty easy. I'm just happy to take them in my stride and get them over and done with - it's such a great feeling knowing that there's no more school left and I can go out into the big, wide world!
Speaking of which, I've got a couple of ideas lined up for what I want to do next year. All of them involve working, at this point, and I have an interview coming up on the 11th that, if I get it, could be really promising for someone my age.
So, my Grad-ball-thingy is also coming up on the 20th, which I am really excited about. My dress is a full length, red, satin halter-type thing similar to this with silver shoes accessories - I'm so excited! Then, on the 25th I'm going away with six girlfriends for schoolies to sunny, beautiful Batemans Bay and Kiama - again, excitement levels are through the roof. Nothing but shopping, drinking, partying, swimming, hanging out and just generally relaxing as a way to celebrate the end of school.
We're away for 10 days, so I get back on the 5th December (so I won't be around much during that time away, if at all).
Art wise - I'm still going strong. Getting back into Avatar with this , so that should be fun. Metal Gear is still there, too - I'm eagerly awaiting the release of Peace Walker on the PSPgo so I can possibly save up and buy some sort of combo pack. I have a massive bag full of shoes that friends have requested I paint (that I totally forgot about) so they'll be happening soon too, hopefully before Christmas. (I will of course be taking my sketch book with me when I go away!)
Drop me a line and tell me what you're up to as well! I'd love to hear from you all. Until next time, friends!

I have officially decided something...it's a huge step in my life. First and foremost I am taking a gap year, I will drive myself insane if I don't then secondary...actually easier if you have msn. Do you have msn any chance?

So are you taking a gap year before you start Year 12 then, Jess? I know a friend who did the pathways thing, where you do Year 12 over 2 years. It seemed to fit for her (I don't know if I could handle assignments and exams for another year lol). No, I don't.

Nah I am taking a gap year after grade 12, before going to uni. Because going from grade 12 to uni straight away will just melt my brain. I haven't heard of that pathway thingy.
Yes I have facebook

I've been told there is a line between fandom and obsession... I don't believe it, and neither do all the awesome anime voices in my head
Yeah. And you rock the house at that prom of yours, Sez!
